The Costa Rica Team have been touring clients for 10 years. But our Tour is unique, as we do not do group tours.

We do small, personalized tours, and since most of our clients start out as Founder Investors in the (few) Projects that meet our stringent guidelines, we tailor the tour to what the new Clients want to do and see, with a few recommendations.

More like driving around the countryside with someone from your family that's been visiting Costa Rica for 30 years, and  moved his family to Costa Rica 10 years ago, and now knows how everything works.

Here is the surprise. Even though we are not doing groups and have the "volume" of people to make a profit from tours.....Our prices are actually cheaper.

Why? Because the tours are not a "business" that we make money from, they are a way of cultivating and educating future Investors and Clients.

So typically the tours are planned after a potential Client has responded to one of our projects, and has spoken with us in detail, looked over project documents, submitted a priority reservation form and $10,000 refundable deposit, and this really is
a buying/investing trip, to tour the areas to know they are making an informed decision, see comparables of other projects, etc. And we recommend that as well.
                THEN THE TOUR IS FREE.

            Why the $10,000 refundable deposit?

That is simple. A refundable deposit separate the "enthusiastic lookers" from the serious and prepared investors. It separates the serious and qualified investors who have verified their funding and other details, from the people who think they are serious and qualified, but truly are not ready yet.

There are a dozen variables that we can't control;
a) Availability and timing of funds discussed.
b) The final decision makers in the investment, the other investors involved and their liquidity or level of interest, etc, etc.

The best way to make sure that the Investor, nor our team are not wasting our time is to have a refundable deposit, as the act of sending a wire "makes things real", and the potential investor will check and verify the liquidity of the funds and other critical details before coming to do an Investor Property Tour.

Have we ever had to refund after a investor saw the property and met the team?
Yes, in 3 years, there have been 3 refunds;

1. The Investor could not get the home equity loan to make the investment.

2. The wife needed to be closer to modern medical, she had a severe heart problem, and needed to be no more the 20 minutes from the be3st Hospital.

3. I refunded the $10,000 before the client even saw the property, it was clear he was not someone that was happy with life, and we didn't want that anger in the community. So I arranged for a General Realtor friend to show him around. Turns out he didn't like Costa Rica, and never bought anything here.

But that is balance against over 20 + people who did get involved as Investors and Owners, and with our current project, that number is over 80 happy owners.

Often the "other companies" Group Tours are $1500 to $2500 per couple for 3/4 days, with 5 - 10 couples in a Bus, so you go where they want, when they say, and stay where they want you to stay.

We charge a flat $350 per day, per couple
...all inclusive!
(double occupancy).

That $350 INCLUDES your rental vehicle (4x4) and Hotel, plus our 24 hour "we're with you wherever you go" service, plus a tour that is what you want, when you want, and where you want.

With advance notice, 2 or 3 couples that are already friends "back home" can do our tours together, we arrange a larger vehicle.

We tried group tours before, and while profitable, we didn't feel our tour clients really learned all they could, and often spent valuable time doing things that really were of no interest to them, (but that was what the group tour had scheduled).

The tour team is made up of Canadians, US Citizens, and Costa Ricans, from ages of 25 to 60.

I was born Canadian, and lived 3/4 my life in Canada and the US, (and a year in Europe and a year in China, and a year in Mexico)

I have been visiting Costa Rica since the early 80's, married a Costa Rican woman in 1982 and we moved "up north" as she refers to it.

And after experiencing North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, in 2000 we moved to Costa Rica "forever.

Myself, my wife and 3 daughters (now 13, 19 and 24). So I am proud to say Costa Rica is "My Country".

But I was very fortunate, as I had Family here, and so in my 1st few months I was immersed in "The Real Costa Rica". and quickly learned how to thrive in this Unique culture, and enjoy all the diversity and differences from North America.

Because of what I learned at the early stages, my transition to living, investing, doing business and enjoying life in Costa Rica has left me with a deep love for this country and it's people, and their completely different culture and ways of interacting and doing business.
